Mission #1

Bridging the Wealth Gap for Veterans and military families is accomplished by providing access to our various resources, facilitating home ownership, home sales, investments, financial wellness, and creditworthiness.

Mission #2

When a military-related person referred to VAHOP closes escrow using qualified real estate service providers, we will donate $1,000 to a VSO of the referring person’s choice. Donations can be split among VSOs.

Mission #3

Home purchases using our resources qualify for a free flagpole installation with the American and the Branch of Service flags. A uniformed Color Guard provides a formal ceremony of raising the Colors.

Military-related persons are defined as active duty servicemembers, a Veteran, a retiree, Gold and Blue Star families (spouse, child, parent, sibling) connected to them.

Vet-GAP™ (Veteran - Group Acquisition Program)

Designed for 2 to 4 veterans to co-own a home holding title together as tenants in common (TIC). AKA: Equity Sharing or Co-Op, this vehicle can be utilized by student Veterans while going to school building equity instead of only student DEBT. Veterans who can't qualify for a home on their own can partner up with other veterans pooling their financial resources and loan pre-approvals together to qualify to buy in an area otherwise out of their individual reach.

VAHOP is a not-for-profit community and industry based organization that works to put Veterans into home ownership, provides funding and donations to VSOs.
